Like early photography's influence on painting, today’s software tools and machine learning should encourage us to consider physical construction in more iterative and provisional ways. As with our increasingly integrated environments, physical tools should represent one among a persistent set of builds that should be collaborated on, revised, beta tested but perhaps never fully formed.
